Congratulations to Richard Lusby on being elected Circuit Court Judge of District 2, the Division 2 position. The Second Judicial District consists of Clay, Crittenden, Craighead, Greene, Mississippi and Poinsett Counties. He will be sworn into service on January 1, 2017.
His Court will adjudicate family and juvenile issues which are particularly susceptible to the caring and concerned personal and professional sensitivity that has so long distinguished Richard’s career. While his presence here will be sorely missed, his civic pursuit of public justice is too generous an idealism for us to covet solely for ourselves. Our loss is society’s greater gain.
